Point2: this thing lacks pockets and the zippers on the side are God damn useless (imo).
Now yea... Very techwear headish to complain about not having enough pockets especially since my main 2 daily drivers are P24A and P23A that each have 10 and 11 respectively.
But I'ma VERY big fan of inner jacket pockets and I would think E himself is since I see him combine this jacket with the J58 a lot, and we have models like J46, J50, J47A/R etc.
But something tells me it was possible but rushed since the material is quite new
Zippers are useless, I'm gonna keep this short but if you see these in person you will see these tighten up NOTHING! Unless you wearing some weird thing under that has arms that get huge at the ends so you have to untighten them, these are usual essentially useless and should have used velcro instead •
<(Just gonna add this in that I love the jacket still because the cut is superior to J46 who I've seen create a cone shape on some people when fully zipped up and the front pockets are honestly an ingenious design that I wish they will never stop using cause that as well is better than the J46, but the problem lie in: not enough pockets, no hood and that's it
So I BEG anyone from the acronym team who reads this! Combine the "quick release" and the inner pockets and side pockets from J46 and add the hood from J62-S and the same cut as 62, keep it in stotz np.
And you will have made the ultimate trench coat! Congratulations!
Pls do it.... )>
This is my second long term jacket from acronym that I decided to keep, it's a very notorious jacket, a lot of hate it or love it kinda deal as the material screams "MATRIX OVER HERE" and 9/10 people think it's leather at first glance might help with that too.
Personally as some of you might have guessed by now, I'm a fan, and Il keep the jacket (for now), but it brings a lot of interesting features to the table (except for it's heavy price tag), but most of it is in the material of the jacket
PB is probably the most perfect "soft shell" jacket I've ever owned!
And I really mean that! •
The material is so flexible and soft and comfortable that unlike goretex that has a more hard papery feel to it, but it bring the GT features to the table, the water pick up on this things is amazing, if the water doesn't just roll off you it literally can't go anywhere so it's only choice is to evaporate! This can be seen if you don't shake the jacket off after being out in the rain and just hang it up somewhere and forget about it (not permanent stain it goes off with some water) •
And while I could nerd out about the fabric I'm pretty sure @erlsn.acr and his team know all this so instead I'm gonna talk about where I'm mad about this jacket (cause fuck me it's so close to being my perfect rain jacket), ---
