Working hard to get back to this. The plan is still rough and waiting on some responses as to when I’d move to Japan. So far it’s looking like April or sometime during the summer. A lot of stress comes with not having a solid plan yet but trying my best to keep grinding away because it’s what I want most right now. #driftlife
Fun fact: I was on Japanese TV for drifting at ebisu circuit. The show finds foreigners at airports and bus stations and asks them why they are in Japan and if the reason is good enough then they throw it on TV. Might post the segment later.
When I was in Japan I would go up to ebisu circuit alone quite a bit. I would meet all sorts of people and outside of matsuri times those people were mostly Japanese. Considering my Japanese was choppy at best this guy didn’t spare me a bit. We talked for hours, drove for hours and towards the end of the day I managed to snag this clip of him, there was no trace of wall on his bumper afterwards. He was an older driver and consistent as hell so you have to wonder where he came from, maybe he grew up as a touge warrior. There are insane drive like this all throughout Japan. Drivers who grew up and got out of it but still posses immense skill.
