Honda car culture in the Philippines is shit. I'm not just talking about the cars, but the kind of people that come with the cars, and the kind of culture these people associate with the Honda brand
Honda's have been popularized locally as the go-to car for fuccboi womanizers on a budget that want to appear fastest on the road just cause they're running an open downpipe. They shame you on the forums when you're "too technical," they publicly post about illegal street racing, they make obnoxious whp gain claims on fake mods, and so much more
Local Honda culture is cancer. As much as I want to appreciate the different builds and communities in this country, appreciating the typical Honda crowd is one hell of a headache. Only a few people really understand what it means to be a proper Honda enthusiast. This doesn't mean you need to have the cleanest build, or the rarest parts. It only means you can appreciate and respect a Honda build, deal with other people's opinions with dignity; basically, engage in car culture with some sense of maturity in mind. No showing off. No talk shit
Anti-Honda is a movement a few friends of mine rode along with. We didn't start it, but we strongly resonate with it. We wear it as a reminder that the prevalent local Honda culture is useless noise. There's a better Honda culture out there. Be a part of it
disclaimer: the Honda culture I'm hating on is prevalent, but doesn't apply to the majority of Honda's out there. I might be making it sound more toxic than it is.
