Can't knock the hustle.
Let me be patient, let me be kind, make me unselfish, without being blind, though I may suffer, I'll envy it not and endure what comes cause he is all that I got. -Lauryn Hill- Model: @janelxjolie

I wanted to send one of the strongest brothers I know a huge congratulations. In a matter of a few years you changed in so many ways. This blessing to you and your lady will only allow you two the ability to grow into an amazing family. Though I was only able to see a small part of this journey I knew you both were in good hands from day one. Thank you for letting me capture this moment for you both. #DJ #Therenaissance

There are times it is a struggle balancing the responsible person my parents raised me to be, and the irresponsible free spirited artist my heart sometimes wants to be. Thank goodness one person knows how to keep both these characters in check when they decide to show out. Now I have to learn to make sure they both know how to co-exist without adult supervision. #Renaissanceman #LaSenora #Overnight_Artist

I grew up on ATCQ .... Literally... All my HS years and into college I listened to this group and they gave me perspective on what it meant to be young and black in this generation in this time from New York. Most of the songs made by them had no violence, no drug dealer references, and no negative reference of women... But still it was powerful uplifting RAP music that was the building blocks for fans and artist seeking substance to this day. It saddens me to hear that one of the legends from that group passed away this morning. Phife for me was that bridge and one of my favorites for a long time. I got a chance to finally see them live in 2013 perform for the first time after 20 years of being a fan and countless run-ins and encounters with Ali and Q-Tip. I never had a chance to meet Phife individually and tell him how much that music still means to me and my culture. Men please be aware of your health... It's more important than we think. Think about it, while the streets you rome... #TheRenaissance
In life sometimes we have to face two different challenges at the same time. You often have no choice but to face both. You take your time and you hold to your action plan and all you can do is fight. In the end you know that for your own happiness and success facing those challenges head on isn't your only option, it is your best. ( Lessons I learn from my subjects some how always relate to life.) #TheRenaissance
Remember the time.... (Do you remember girl?)
This one time I needed security to walk the streets... Thank goodness for having friends in high places during those times.
