This is Solly, the head hancho at @cullenwines. Just kidding, that's actually @vanyacullen; the knowledge bank behind an internationally renowned biodynamic vineyard cemented in the Margaret River regions heritage as one of the founding four. 馃檶馃徎 Cullen Wines are at the pinnacle of quality, integrity and sustainability within viticulture, to visit this place is to visit the heart of wine making culture. @winedogs_hq caught Solly here on a rare day off from digging holes, photographing him for their famous Wine Dog calendar. Geez life's tough for a poster boy! 馃悤

Cyclone Joyce sure brought us some stunning sunsets this week! @remygbernhardt caught this one at Surfers Point. All the rain had our winemakers biting their nails, but the skies have cleared and vintage 2018 is shaping up to be a beauty.

The stingray population in the Margaret River region is huge! Keep an eye out for these big friendly flappers next time you're swimming through the turquoise sand patches, they're super curious and will quite often swim over to check you out. You might even be lucky enough to catch one digging up a crab! Guys like @anthonyzanphoto live for this kind of connection with nature, it's totally a big part of the lifestyle down here and one of the main reasons people come from afar to photograph our coast. #nature 馃檶馃徎

Drive past Andy鈥檚 shop, past Caves House, round that corner and experience a view like nothing else! How would you describe the drive into Yallingup? Life changing? Breathtaking? . Joel Nankivell @southwestsaltwater took this epic shot of Yallingup, place of love. 馃挋馃憦馃徏

This weekend we鈥檝e handed over our Instagram Story to the @propellorproject - that鈥檚 @scottslawinski and @from.miles.away sharing a weekend drone photography workshop with their pals, including Rodrigo from @skyperth who got this epic shot at Sugarloaf Rock. Click on our profile pic to see what they鈥檙e up to - and for some Eagle Bay goodness coming up soon!

News flash! Tomorrow we have a top of 30 degrees, turquoise coloured water and a HIGH probability of STINGRAYS, if you're hanging out at Hamelin Bay that is.. 馃槈 Splash your feet at the shoreline and these gentle giants will swim right up to you, they're super friendly and actually love being around humans. @margaretriveradventure have tonnes of fun taking their guests down to see these cool creatures, it's totally one of those bucket list items everyone has to tick off on their Margaret River region getaway.

Vintage 2018 is nearly here; winemakers are taking a deep breath before all the hard yakka begins, and backpackers have come from all around the world to help pick grapes. There鈥檚 a marvellous maritime influence as we鈥檙e surrounded by ocean. The afternoon breeze cools the vineyards, allowing the grapes to develop flavour and aroma. The viticulture and winemaking teams at @leeuwinestate are preparing for vintage, and we wish them a cracker of a year. Head over to their account for an excellent explanation of how our climate and terroir makes Margaret River such a reliable and excellent wine region. 馃摲 @francesandrijich

1.8 kilometres of workin' those legs will get you the end of the longest wooden structure this side of the equator. This photo shot by @zammokta shows the famous whale murals painted by talented chap @ianmutch. Ian has a whole lot of beautiful art pieces dotted throughout the Margaret River region and he's known for his whimsical, cartoon style, so keep an eye out on your next stroll through town!

Chardonnay and marron, a divine combination, both exciting and delicate at the same time. This is just a sample of the delicious @aravinaestate summer menu. Treat yourself and someone special to lunch during one of these glorious summer days 馃檶馃徎 馃摲 - @timcampbellphoto

It's been a reeeal lazy summer Sunday in the Margaret River region, just how we like it. 馃憣馃徎 A few mates, a barby a couple of bevvys and our own house on water courtesy of @blackwoodriverhouseboats You can find these guys in Augusta, they'll get you safely up river to all the hidden nooks and crannies of the waterway, complete with your own tender so you can chase down the tasty bream. What a life! 馃帲

Oh Lake Cave, how we love your suspended table and stalactites 馃挍 There鈥檚 plenty of stairs leading you down into this natural wonderland, 62 metres below the Karri forest. But it鈥檚 worth every step, just ask @garry_norris who took this incredible photo. Is it a kid-friendly cave? We think so, especially if you bribe them with ice cream to climb back out themselves. According to the cave guides they usually have one youngster fall into the water each year, but it鈥檚 pretty shallow so they scoop them out quick. 馃崷馃檴

It's officially time to pull in to the weekend, yew! There's so many summer banks shaping up nicely around the Margaret River region, it's that time of year when the water glows blue and the beaches are white hot. Surf photography is HUGE on this coast, and it's all about team work and timing, you've got to have your plan down pat. @anthonyzanphoto and @txintxet know just how to link up and make the magic happen. Here's to the next two days in the salt! 馃挦馃弰馃馃徎
