Pls get me a piece of tissue...this Interview is killing me...damn... Growing up in the 90s was simply amazing...I remember I first watched the NBA in the 95-96 playoffs and witnessed how great the Bulls and MJ were.
Then the next season, there was a kid from the Lakers showed his ass off in Cleveland winning the Slam Dunk Champ, I started to pay attention to this Afro boy...I collect his rookie trading cards, jerseys and stuff...there was a hella memories during his first few years, ads balling in the rainy day, showboat Lakers, his air balls against the Jazz...then here came Phil Jackson. I was more than happy to witness the best, the most dominant DUO in the NBA history - #Shaq and #Kobe, #3peat!!! That was just crazy...
Shaq left after the disappointing super team season, I blamed Kobe for everything, I blamed him for kicking Shaq out, I blamed him on the lawsuit, I was just mad at Kobe.
I started to like other new guys like Melo and Lebron since then, but your 81 game against the Raptors and 61 points game against the Knicks drew my freaking attentions...and made me admiring your work ethic, your dedication to prove yourself, and that was the greatest thing ever. I’m not a professional basketball player, I just love hooping a lot...but the #mambamentality IS so strong inside me. I treat my works the way you treat the game of basketball, I see you as my role model. #thankyoukobe#ko8e24@kobebryant
