Hailing from Mumbai, she’s an architect. Thus, structures building in real form the sketches excites her the most.
The strong difference between the old and new city of Ahmedabad makes her love the city more. She feels, new Ahmedabad is about creative culture that has so many creative people from different fields that is felt in the cafes and on the streets of the city whereas old city seemed like a heritage cultural fabric that includes pols, mosques, step wells, etc.

The Gaekwad Haveli was built under the rule of Damaji Gaekwad along the banks of Sabarmati river in the year 1753. ⠀
It was used as a seat of Gaekwad during Maratha rule and later converted into baracks and arsenal during British rule. It then became a warehouse for railways in 1863.⠀
AMC took the restoration work in October 2014.⠀
