| NEW BEERS | on tap for this Thirsty Thursday starting at 3pm. Plus $1 off Abnormal drafts & 1/2 off select bottles to enjoy in house.
Indieversity: Brick In Yo Face- an Imperial Cuban Coffee Porter 8.4% ABV. This beer is a collaboration between Abnormal Beer Co. and @residentbrewing to promote independent craft breweries, a movement called Indieversity from the boys on @whatsondraft. The 2 brewers that made this happen both started brewing together back in South Florida where Cuban coffee is king. They decided to put this lucsious recipe together to emulate the classic morning pick-me-up, Cafecito. Coming in at 8.4% it will give you a different kind of buzz than the coffee drink, but when it opens up to the rich, heavy roasted coffee and silky cocoa sweetness you will want more than the thimble-sized shot you normally get sharing a cafecito in the office.
Whoville Slugger- a Strong Winter Ale. Right off the bat this beer hits hard on the nose with candy-like licorice and cinnamon. Its deep amber color suggests its ability to warm the soul with sweet winter spices and a 9.5% ABV. Deep, rich caramel notes give it a moderate amount of body and round out all of the other spice flavors. Our head brewer can be kinda “Grinchy” so naturally he went looking toward his favorite holiday flick for inspiration on the name of this beer. Here we pay homage to the wonderful town of Whoville and hope that this beer turns the biggest Grinch into a warm and cuddly Santa.
... & good news, BOSS POUR IS BACK.
TURBIDITY is BACK. Our Double Hazy IPA gets a little restless. Luckily we have enough hops to keep this beer satisfied and satisfying. A substantial amount of body and malty sweetness are present to support the higher ABV and enormous dry hop. Expect to see an exciting new combination of classic, new-school, and/or experimental hops in every batch with the occasional repeat of some favorites. We made a big batch featuring Mosaic, Simcoe, & Idaho 7 that might be making its way into cans and bottle shops near you... soon. We also may have released it to a select few cool spots such as @hamiltonstavern | @regalseagullsd | @knbbistro | @urgegastropub RB so if you want to preview the new Turbidity, visit those spots and get it while you can. (Check back in to see can release details and when we’ll have it on tap here.) 📸: @brewstills
